ABOUT

Youth mental health is the foundation for a thriving future, yet today’s young people face growing pressures that impact their well-being. From academic stress to social challenges and the influence of technology, navigating adolescence can be overwhelming. That’s why prioritizing healthy mental health—building resilience, fostering supportive relationships, and equipping youth with coping strategies—is essential. Suicide prevention starts with open conversations, access to resources, and creating environments where youth feel valued and supported.

Empower works alongside youth to provide education, prevention strategies, and support that empower them to navigate challenges in healthy ways. Through collaboration and advocacy, we strengthen protective factors, ensuring young people have the tools to face life’s challenges with confidence and hope.
