SUBSTANCE-FREE

Events

Creating Safe, Fun Spaces for Youth

Throughout the year, we host free events for students in grades 7–12. These events include swim nights, rec nights, bowling nights, movie nights, and more! By offering engaging, substance-free events, we help increase protective factors like positive peer relationships, adult support, and pro-social opportunities—all of which reduce the risk factors associated with substance use and mental health challenges. These events give Martin County students a safe space to have fun, build community, and make healthy choices, while reinforcing the message that substance-free living is not only possible—but enjoyable.

Youth-Led Planning

Our Empower youth groups help brainstorm, plan, and run many of these events—ensuring the activities reflect what students actually want.

Community Partnerships

Many of our events are made possible through generous support from local organizations, businesses, and grant funding. We’re grateful to our community partners who help us keep these nights fun, accessible, and free for all participants.
